Assignment description:

In this assignment, you are going to play two roles. In one role, you are going to be a freelance graphic designer, who is trying to get a client to hire you to design a logo or CD cover for his or her company. In the other role, you are going to be the owner of a business (the client) and you want to hire a graphic designer to design your CD cover logo.

As a designer, here is what you need to do:
Have a portfolio to show your client.
Make an appointment to meet your client and show your work.
Tell the client why you think you should be hired.
Come up with an idea for a CD cover to present to the client.
Get approval for the design from the client.
Tell the client when you will have the artwork prepared. Think about what you will need to do to plan and coordinate the production. Set a delivery date and then work backward to decide what you need to do.

As an owner (client) here is what you need to do:
Have a name for the group or artists for the CD
Have a title for the CD
Have information about who might buy the CD
Give the designer a date for the finished CD cover.

You will receive your grade from two sources.
