the assignment (instructions, specifications and criteria):

Your assignment is to create a musical CD cover, or even an album cover (vinyl is back). Before you create artwork for a purpose, such as getting someone (a consumer) to buy something, you need to know something about the consumer. Designers use demographic information for this. Demographics are the statistical data of a population, especially those showing average age, income, education, etc. A specific segment of a population having shared characteristics: For example, the record producers were looking for an album that would appeal to the 15-22 demographic.

Questions
1. What were the design process steps
 we used? http://stevecampbellhillwood.blogspot.com/2016/12/standard-13the-design-process.html
2. What is demographic information?
3. How does it apply to this project?
4. How do you add drop shadow to type?

Our design steps were:
1. Researched and gathered ideas (online sketches)
2. Defined the consumer (demographic worksheet)
3. Created ideas (your sketches)
4. Created the images with photography
5. Designing the final artwork by combining images in Photoshop
